Prince estate taking over management duties at Paisley Park. Right now it is being ran by Graceland Holdings, the same company running Elvis Presley’s tourist attraction in Memphis, Tennessee.
Prince Purple Palace Was Being Ran By Same Company Running Elvis Presley’s Graceland
Our beloved Prince left us over 3 years ago on April 21, 2016. He was 57 years old. Since October of 2016, Graceland Holdings, which is the same company running Elvis Presley’s tourist attraction in Memphis, Tennessee, had been operating Prince’s Paisley Park as a museum. Actually outlined by the singer before his death, plans were made to convert the 65,000 square foot studios into a museum.

According to Billboard, Sharon Nelson, Prince’s older sister says the family will now manage Paisley Park. She says the decision has nothing to do with the family not being pleased with how Graceland Holdings was operating or any economic reasons. But, simply because the contract ends in September.

“It was always the intent for the family to take over,” said P Park Management Inc. managing partner, Joel Weinshanker (P Park was crated by Graceland Holdings in 2016). “It’s always been my desire for the heirs’ voice to become louder and louder.”
Apparently, the heirs of the eccentric singer have differing opinions, as reported by the Star Tribune. Therefore, the final decisions on how to operate the property will be made by Comerica, the estate’s administrator.

Prince left no will, and his estate is valued at over $300 million.
These beautiful pictures inside Paisley Park, Prince’s house are amazing. We are sure missing the Purple One right about now. R.I.P. Prince Rogers Nelson!
