Nephew Tommy Hosts Dating Show “Ready To Love” on OWN!!!
You know Nephew Tommy, the prankster on the Tom Joyner Morning Show radio station. Well, now he’s hosting a dating show. Having been married himself for 32 years and still professes to be more than happy, he is the perfect host to guide these chocolate singles to coupledom.
Announced on the Oprah Winfrey Network, OWN’s Ready To Love is back for a second season. Hosted by Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, this show will be exploring real-life dating interactions.
Set in Atlanta, participants who are looking for real, lasting love are successful, grown and sexy black men and women aged 30 something to 50 something.
Unlike other dating shows, both the men and the women take turns deciding who stays and who goes.
As reported by Broadwayworld.com, Ready to Love drove OWN to be Saturday night’s #1 cable network among African-American women 25-54. In it’s first season, the show grew more than 78% in women in that age group, and more than 57% in total views.
Produced by Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment, this popular series will be premiering next month, on October 5th at 10:00 p.m. ET.
