Kandi Burruss is about to be a mama once again, by way of surrogate. On the last season of RHOA, Kandi tried convincing her husband, Todd Tucker that surrogacy was the way to go.
Kandi Burruss Has A Growing Family
Congratulations are in order! Already parents of 3 year old Ace Wells, 43-year old Kandi also has a 16-year old daughter, Riley and she is step-mom to Todd’s 22-year old daughter, Kaela. Now they all have to make room for a new edition to the family.
As reported by people.com, deciding to use a surrogate came about due to Kandi having fibroids and a high-risk pregnancy with her son. And the fact that she has frozen embryos just waiting to be born.
Back in April, while at the RHOA season 11 reunion, Burruss became emotional when talking about advice she received from Andy Cohen. Regarding Kandi’s potential use of a surrogate to expand her family, Kandi said she told Andy something like –
“‘I guess I’m gonna have a baby mama”
And he said to me –
“Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother…and to say she’s your baby’s mom is taking away from you.”

Well, all drama aside, Kandi and Todd have to be looking forward to the day they will hold their new bundle of joy. No word on a due date yet.
