Gonna Do Some Name Dropping Now…
In this epic tribute to black America, I could name drop all day. Not only was Tiffany Haddish, Tika Sumpter and Kelly Williams there, but so was Iyanla Vanzant, Samuel L. Jackson and Vanessa Williams.

Want some more? Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Taraji P. Henson, Gail King and Terrence Howard. Not to go on and on, but so was Phylicia Rashad, Anita Baker, Nicole Ari Parker and Usher. O.K., I’m going to stop now, you get the picture.

Purchasing the lot in 2015 for $30 Million, Tyler wanted to pay tribute and just say ‘Thank You’ to all those black celebrities for their work in the industry. Honoring them, he named some of his soundstages after them.
Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith and Halle Berry Honored With Buildings Named After Them
“I was at Paramount…walking through looking at all of the buildings there and none of them are named after an African American.”
“I wanted all of these people who have done so much incredible work in this business to know that I see you, we see you, we love you and appreciate you”

Some of the A-List stars that were honored with buildings named after them were Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith and Halle Berry.
After all the festivities were over, Tyler Perry Tweeted –
Couldn’t close the weekend without Jesus meeting us on the lawn at the studio!! Having a full heart and a thankful soul to all that have prayed me all the way here.
