Octavia Spencer is on fire! Maybe you haven’t noticed, but 47-year-old Octavia Lenora Spencer has been all over the place. And soon she will play the first black millionaire, black hair care product pioneer, Madam C. J. Walker!

That’s not all, 2020 will prove to be just as busy, as Ms. Spencer will have two more feature films and two voice roles under her belt –

And look out for another great t.v. show coming soon. Teaming up as a producer with Lebron James, our girl Octavia will be in the lead role as Madam C. J. Walker, the hair product pioneer that revolutionized black hair.

And The Rewards Keep Coming

Heavily decorated, Ms. Spencer has collected many awards. With 36 wins and 84 nominations, her role in ‘The Help” gained her 24 awards alone, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, according to Wikipedia.
