Joycelyn Savage Now Says She Is A Victim Of R. Kelly & Was Pregnant Twice By The Singer
Everyone knows R. Kelly has been in a heap of trouble for years now. Currently incarcerated in a Chicago jail, the popular Singer, Producer and Songwriter is facing several charges in different states, including –
- sexual assault charges
- child sexual exploitation
- kidnapping
- child pornography
- forced labor
- prostitution
- racketeering
- obstruction of justice

Responding to a 6-part documentary called Surviving R. Kelly that aired on Lifetime in January of this year, Kelly was accused of being controlling. Other accusations made were that he was abusive, telling his women when to eat, when to go to the bathroom, when they can sleep, and where they can dress, as addressed by King in her interview with the music star.
But through it all, he has had two girlfriends that were standing by his side, Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage.
In the documentary, their parents have made allegations that they believe their respective daughters were brainwashed by Kelly.
After finally emerging to speak for themselves, Clary and Savage were totally on his side and defending Kelly, as witnessed during an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning. Check it out.
Well, one of them, Joycelyn Savage, has apparently decided to jump ship and pull the lid off their relationship.
Savage Releases Two Parts Of Her Story On Patreon, So Far
Posting to her Instagram account, Savage states that she has joined with Patreon to out her side of the story. Yes, she signed a non-disclosure agreement, but she doesn’t seem to care about that, here’s her caption –
“I am risking my life for many others. This story is 18+ and only for mature audience. I want to make sure my story is very detailed as I can remember.” She also used Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts”
And this seems to be just the beginning of her claims that she is a victim of R. Kelly. Among other things, she details how she and Kelly met at a concert when she was just 17 years old.
Additionally, she added that R. Kelly promised her a music career, and even said he would make her the next Aaliyah, as reported by TMZ.
In her first “chapter”, Joycelyn Savage says she dropped out of college to move in with R. Kelly when she was 17…but then she says things turned ugly fast, claiming the embattled singer became very controlling. In her own words, she dropped some examples –
“After these couple of months Robert started giving me commands, and making sure I call him by certain names. Like ‘Master’ or ‘Daddy’ which I didn’t really care for at the time.”
“If I wasn’t getting paid or pursuing my dream I would’ve went home, but all of that didn’t stop just yet.”
I had to call him “Master” or “Daddy”
“But It started getting worse by day by day, he would raise his voice at me if I didn’t call him by those two names. If Robert called me I would have to reply with ‘Yes, daddy’ or ‘Please daddy’ he was so controlling.”
TMZ reports that Savage claims R. Kelly threatened to torpedo her career if she ever left him or tried talking to her parents in private. According to Savage, R. Kelly said –
“All this can stop today, you want a career? Or do you want to live a normal life.”
What Happens If Savage Does Not Call Him By His Chosen Names?
On Sunday, November 24th, Joycelyn Savage posted a second installment of her story on Patreon, where she explains what would happen if she did not call him by his chosen names –
After forgetting to call him by his chosen names, she mistakenly called him “Babe” and this is what she says happened next –
“grabbed me and choked me until I blacked out.”
“I had bruises around my neck, and I was told by him to wear a turtle necks or a scarf to cover them up whenever he would take me out in public.”
“I was frightened to tell anyone about this because of what he may do next.”
Elaborating further, Savage went on to say that R. Kelly continued to abuse and isolate her, causing her to “slipped into a depression”—especially when she was forced to stay in her bedroom while Kelly “would bring different girls home that stayed just like me, and they were definitely younger than me.”
“I couldn’t talk to any of them until it was my time I had to wait in my room until rob was ready for me or his assistant will come in get me.”
“I was forced to come out of my room some days I didn’t feel like being Roberts cum rag or punching bag.”
Joycelyn Savage Claims Pregnancies and Abortions Of R. Kelly’s Babies In Second Patreon Post
Savage continues to reveal explosive allegations against R. Kelly, which includes she was pregnant twice by the singer, in 2016 and 2018. Forced to get abortions, she claims they were performed at his compound, to avoid publicity.
Other claims made by Savage against Kelly –
- “…locked me up like some damn animal”
- micro-managed every aspect of her day
- disallowed her from basic feminine hygiene
- peed on her and other girls, despite their protest
R. Kelly’s Attorney, Steven Greenberg, talks to TMZ
“Joycelyn is exploiting her time with his client and trying to make a buck off her situation. It is unfortunate that Jocelyn now seeks to make money exploiting her long time, loving relationship with Robert.”
“Obviously if she were to tell the truth no one would pay so she has, unfortunately, chosen to regurgitate the stories and lies told by others for her own personal profit. We know the real facts, and it was not until the money ran out that she decided anything was wrong. Hopefully people will see it for the Obvious profiteering it is.”
Kelly denies all allegations made against him. He will remain in jail until his trial, scheduled for May of 2020.
