Everybody’s talking about Queen and Slim and the spectacular performances of it’s stars, Daniel Kaluuya and newcomer, Jodie Turner-Smith. Also getting kudos is the cinematography and the music.

In it’s debut weekend opening, the movie has already outperformed it’s expectations by taking in 15.8 million dollars, according to Essence.
Other celebrities are shouting out this movie all over social media, including Erykah Badu and Beyonce.
