Rapper Juice WRLD of Chicago has died. Witnesses say the young rapper had just landed at Midway Airport after a flight from California.
Juice WRLD Suffers Seizure While At Chicago’s Midway Airport
Jarad Anthony Higgins, the up and coming rapper who went by the name of Juice WRLD landed at Chicago’s Midway Airport. Reportedly, he obtained his name when he was inspired by the performance of Tupac Shakur in the 1992 film, Juice. He had just turned 21 about a week ago.
While walking at the airport, by-standers describe how the rapper apparently had a seizure. According to TMZ, law enforcement stated that the 21-year-old was bleeding from the mouth by the time paramedics arrived. However, he was still conscious.
He died shortly after arriving at the hospital. No official finding on his actual cause of death.
Juice Wrld’s was just starting to get a real taste of success in his young career.
Back in the summer of 2018, he had his first hit song, “Lucid Dreams” that made it to #2 on the charts. Featuring Lil Yachty on the remix of “All Girls Are the Same,” also became a hit. Enter Interscope Records.
Signed to a multi-million dollar contract by Interscope Records, Higgins was on his way to bigger things. After releasing his first studio album, “Goodbye & Good Riddance”, the 2-track EP, “Too Soon,” was dropped as a tribute to Lil Peep and XXXTentatcion.RIP Juice WRLD.
Also being featured on the enormous success of Travis Scott’s “AstroWorld” album, he sang the hook on the track, “No Bystanders.”
