Baby Phat Is Back After 10 Year Hiatus
After a 10 year absence, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons is officially back in action. Collaborating with Forever 21 earlier this year, Kimora Lee Simmons’ dropped her streetwear brand back on the racks. Now, the franchise has unveiled a brand new launch via their babyphat.com website.
Earlier this year, Rifinery 29 was told by the founder of baby phat, Kimora Lee Simmons of the original and continued vision of the family business –
“I think it’s a huge opportunity to teach by example: to always keep growing and pushing yourself to evolve.”
“Baby Phat is our family business in a lot of ways, and I’m excited for them to participate in a hands-on way to rebuild it alongside me.”
“Our strategy is tied to embracing all the exciting things that have happened in the market so that Ming Lee and Aoki Lee can tell their story to a new generation (of) young women, some of whom may not have even been born during our first go around.”

Who doesn’t remember the cute, adorable little faces of Kimora’s little beauties walking with her down the runway.
While literally watching the long-legged cuties grow to adults, there now all grown up and taking the lead. Strutting their stuff in Baby Phat gear are Simmons’ daughters, 17-year old Aoki Lee and Ming Lee who is 19-years-old.
Ranging from $75 to $300 and offerings from XS to XXXL, expect more pieces to be available during their spring/summer line of high fashion, as reported by Madamenoire.
