Cardi B On Billboard 200 For 92 Weeks For ‘Invasion of Privacy’
27-year old Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, best known as Cardi B, has made quite an accomplishment. Her Invasion of Privacy just passed Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. How? As the longest-charting debut album by a female rapper on Billboard’s 200 chart.
Spending an astounding 92 weeks so far on the chart, is Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy. Did you hear that, 92 weeks! That’s one week longer than Hill’s Miseducation. And Invasion was released back in 2018. No new music has been released by her since then. Though she is back in the studio.
As reported by the Source, the rapper, songwriter and television personality’s debut album is the highest streamed female album in Spotify’s history.
According to the Source, the Bodak Yellow rapper recently gave a tiny preview of a new single she is working on. Reportedly, the new song is produced by Lil’ Wayne himself. Tentatively called Tiger Woods, everyone is waiting to see when her sophomore album will be dropped. We’re waiting!
