D’Angelo Made Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart 8 Times!!!

D’Angelo made Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart 8 times. Though only one reached the top 10, these are some really nice tunes that I still enjoy listening to. Let’s spend a little time today with D’Angelo.

D’Angelo Keeps Us Groovin’

45-year-old Michael Eugene Archer, best known as singer, D’Angelo is also a song writer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and composer.

Since bursting on the scene, he has covered several genre’s of music. While he continues to keep us groovin’ to his beats, his talents have included music in R&B, funk, jazz, neo soul and psychedelic rock.

His critically acclaimed debut album, Brown Sugar was released in 1995, and Black Messiah with The Vanguard came out in 2014. Today marks the 20th anniversary of D’Angelo’s sophomore album, Voodoo, which dropped in 2000.
