George Floyd started a movement. Now, Kanye is assisting families directly involved in some of the most blatant acts of racism in America.
George Floyd Changed The World
George Floyd, a black man, was murdered on May 25th. “I can’t breath” was once again uttered by a black man at the hands of a white police officer.
A Minneapolis cop had the audacity to snuff out Floyd’s life…in broad daylight. The white police officer put his knee in Floyd’s neck, cutting off his airway. Nonchalantly, with his hands in his pockets.
Witnesses, though they called out to the cop to stop, watched helplessly. But…thanks to a cell phone camera, the birth of a movement was formed.
George Floyd died by the careless acts of a white cop a week ago, in broad daylight, in front of many witnesses. The most important witness, a cell phone camera. That moment started a movement that was well overdue.
After many days of unrest across America and the world, including looting, destruction, and most importantly – peaceful protesting. Brother George Floyd is being laid to rest as I write.

Additionally, part of the donation will go to cover the legal cost for some families. Included are the families of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.
Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed in Georgia while jogging. Breonna Taylor was killed inside her home in Louisville, when she was shot by cops there to serve a search warrant.
Black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago, as well as other businesses across the nation that were impacted by the recent unrest, will also be helped.
This is a step in the right direction. George Floyd’s daughter is right when she said, “My daddy changed the world!” Bless you, Gianna.
