Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, Jim Brown and Muhammad Ali Come Together For “One Night In Miami”

Come be a fly on the wall as 4 friends get together for an epic night of soul searching. And we’re not just talking about 4 random guys, these buddies just happen to be 4 of the most iconic, inspirational black men of their time.

This group included minister and activist Malcolm X, Heavyweight Champion of the World, Muhummad Ali, Smooth Soul Crooner, Sam Cooke and Jim Brown, NFL Champion Football Hero.

Check out the trailer below.

Though based on an actual event, this drama film is a fictionalized meeting of Ali, Cooke, Brown and Malcolm. Gathering at a room at the Hampton House in February 1964, the guys are celebrating Ali’s surprise title win over Sonny Liston.

Analyzing their roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s, as most friends do, they conquer conflict and come away with valuable insight. Catching these men on the edge of major change in their careers in the face of racism of the 60’s, this movie is “deep” and “relevant” to today. As they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
